Undrained

The water stands
reeking, opaque
my rolled-up sleeve
wet, patience consumed

decisively,
a large bucket below the
plug, and a large wrench
yes, and with a few turns

it is amazing
how well water
runs along an arm
down to my shoes

but that was before
and breathing is easy
while the laundry
quietly spins

so was it fixed by a professional
there is something very reassuring/empathic about these recent posts which makes for excellent reading
self-discovery by way of plumbing
(maybe that's why it's called a "you" bend) :)
cheers

floots - thank you - yes, this one was beyond me, although I had to dig into a bit to find out. Part of the discovery process :)

You have to be a snake to work on plumbing! But a good subject to write poetry about!!
