Hail in the west -
thunder echos
and inland seagulls
cry misplaced tunes
my glass of wine
thoughtfully waits
while lightning queues up
light wind gusts
brush leaves
then subside
a loon flies past
hurried, warning
of approaching brilliance

andrew - storms can be so great!
