I wonder if the endless repetition of playing fetch is anything like making a record?
pat - yes, the recording is for an upcoming benefit event where several bands are playing (not at the same time) and each group is contributing a couple songs. We have one about trained - armed - dolphins that get away in a hurricane. Going to be a major hit, I'm sure. Maybe I can get permission to post it, we'll see.
ryan - the dog was grudging about dropping the slimy tennis ball, which I then kicked off the top of a small hill. He was pretty excited about retrieving it, and later went away somewhere. I think there are similarities with the recording process, except perhaps for the guy running the computer all day, doing multiple takes and patching sections on the fly.
