Sky Watching

Amid gray hair and confused looks
nothing on the path is quite the same
but the sky remains silent

My friend has a day clock
enough to know what day it is
sometimes it's all one needs

It's already tomorrow someplace
and sky can hold the light of day
lightly, then let it go again

Perhaps the sky is subdivided
for the development of new markets
in cloud production and such

Ideally, PV=nRT, but
there are limits and loss of equilibrium
not to mention the question of who's watching

who's watching
that's the key
whether the watcher is internal or external
love this steve
(if you ever come to skye again you'll have to explain the equation though) :)

Gh=Confusion squared. "not to mention the question of who's watching", great ending!!

PV=nRT (often pronounced "piv-nert") captures the relationship of pressure (P), volume (V), amount (n) and temperature (T) for a theoretically "ideal" gas, with a constant (R) thrown in for good measure. Works most of the time, except that "real" gases object to being under too much pressure and are prone to turning into liquids, etc. (liquid CO2 turns out to have a lot of practical utility). I'm not sure if any of this helps...sometimes think I'd like to teach, but never really learned how.

Sky watching I do it all the time, whether when I'm driving into work or at work. I love watching clouds, they are so magical.

I love this poem
