Crumbling Cliff

Too late, and too far
accelerative pull does its work
faster than firm footing recovery

All was prepared, all turning
but past performance is hardly
any predictor at all today

Dreamlike futile run, reach,
the reality sinks in and down
oh, to fly for just a few moments

Look over, look over,
find emptiness where
so much of late had been

vaughn - well, it was sort of a difficult day...good to get this out. But it's not really as bad as this sounds!

Sorry about your day, but, happy that you had your say. That's an important part of getting better.

floots, queen neetee, & pat - thank you for a very welcome set of comments. job uncertainty is kind of wearing and definitely feels crumbly at times. But many in the world go to bed hungry - there is always that perspective!

I'll try to write something that has a little less free-fall in it...:)
