arrgh! arrgh! i've had issues with this for years. the easy answer is that they are steeped in tradition and cannot identify with the animals as a being worthy of respect and protection i suppose...still...arrgh! arrgh! then there is thre thing where they also throw sheep or goats off balconies...arrgh!
capegirl - yes, i don't get it, do they like the danger somehow? heaving animals from the balcony must be like boys who want to watch what happens. thanks for your note, it did brighten my day, though i feel worse for the animals.
